In The Shops: New Collection of Fancy Pants by Rosie for Autograph

Last Autumn I blogged about Rosie Huntington-Whiteley's lingerie collaboration with M&S Autograph with a vintage feel.  The collaboration is back for Autumn/Winter 2013, and as well as re-releasing the best-selling set, the anniversary collection features some new styles.  Read the press release below and have a sneak peek at some of the styles.  The collection is in store now and available to purchase through the Marks and Spencer website here.

I love that teddy!

The collection of beautiful, sophisticated pieces uses luxurious fabrics such as silk and French designed lace. The palette is rich and sumptuous, deep mauve and dusky pink are highlighted with natural inspired tones such as olive green and taupe. Exquisite vintage styling, rose print blooms and intricate attention to detail, cut and fit continues to underpin the brand.

Key items within the anniversary collection include both updates on favourite styles and brand new pieces which keep the collection fresh, including a versatile lace trim teddy in sumptuous silk, a non padded silk bra and a beautifully soft lace ribbon-tie non wired bra, the ultimate in feminine glamour. The popular silk kimono wrap has been reworked in mauve silk with placement rose print detailing.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley says,
“I can’t quite believe it’s been a whole year since the Rosie for Autograph launch, it’s gone so fast! For my one year anniversary collection, I’m loving the new shapes and, as well as including my signature soft colours, I’ve experimented with a darker, richer palette, perfect for the Autumn season.”

Soozie Jenkinson, Head of Lingerie Design at M&S says,
We took influence from the natural glamour and romanticism of the pre-Raphelites for this new collection, the richness of nature combined with the ethereal spirit of the art movement influenced both our colour palette and the hand painted rose bloom artwork.”

  2. There is such a classic elegance - and gentleness - to this beautiful colour palette. It really does transmit a sense of autumn, while also ensuring it would look marvelous during, and at home in, any of the other three seasons. So lovely - thank you for sharing, honey.
