Gingham Hell Bunny Dress

Another black and white dress, I make no excuses - the last one was picnic check and this one is gingham!  I love a halterneck dress for warmer days, and this one by Hell Bunny has heart-shaped pockets and frilled trim to boot.

Gingham Hell Bunny Dress

I wasn't going anywhere, a day around the house and garden was on the agenda.  Do you dress up and stay home sometimes too?

  1. This is weird, I was just taking some photos for a future post on coral lipsticks - and one of them was Kiss Me Coral! It looks completely different on you than on me (much lighter on you), but still very pretty. Such a good shade.

I find myself dressing up all the time at the moment, taking a few photos for the blog, then sitting round the house/going to the supermarket etc still all dressed up. As happened yesterday, causing one over-excitable fellow to let out a low whistle right in my face as I tottered back from the post office. But, I always think it's better to be overdressed - it's much more fun and you're always ready to bump into ex boyfriends that way (or is that just me?!) ;) x

    1. It's a great shade, I love it - these photos were in the midday sun, so maybe they're a bit washed out. I'll have to take some more pics for you to see the true shade on me.

And absolutely, always better to be overdressed! It is indeed more fun!!

Thanks for stopping by, I will try and catch up on some blogs, including yours, tonight, this week has been crazy!! P x

  3. You can't go wrong with a bit of Hell Bunny!

Hmm I'm sitting here drinking prosecco in my pyjamas so that's a dress up fail for me! To be fair we have just cut all the hedges in the garden so I have just got out the shower.

    1. Tee hee, gardening really has had an impact on my wardrobe the last few months - I haven't painted my fingernails for ages and am often found waist-deep in shrubbery, hacking back things in the same pair of cropped jeans. I love the sound of prosecco in pyjamas, that's brilliant! P x

  5. Porcelina, this is one of my most favorite vintage dresses that you own. Love the girly sweetheart neckline and pockets and of course the bucket skirt. So feminine. I am a huge fan of Black+White Gingham and I'd love this dress. =)

  10. Looking absolutely lovely! Must admit I can be quite lazy on days off with the offending pjs or nighty instead of dressing up. But I must try to next time....and Hell Bunny is always so pretty. Have a fabulous week!

  16. Love the dress! My friend actually has the same exact dress. It's so darling. I'm a strictly pj girl myself when I don't leave the house. PJs are my absolute favorite clothes to wear... followed then by dresses ;) By the way, I love your Kiss Me Coral lipstick shade by Revlon! I forgot to mention it in one of your previous posts but it is a great shade on you! :)

  26. This dress is so, so fabulously pretty and looks all kinds of gorgeous on you, dear gal!!! I've fallen hard for Hell Bunny's offerings in the past year or so. They fit me very well (the ones I've tried on so far at least) and are considerably more budget friendly than a fair number of repro/vintage inspired brands. I have two dresses and skirt from them so and just ordered my first HB cardigan (with some birthday money) on Thursday from a UK seller (I couldn't find anyone in NA who was stocking the mint green foxy cardigan), and hope to continue to periodically add more HB offerings to my wardrobe.

  27. I love Hell Bunny and this dress definitely suits you :). You look so pretty! I get dressed up everyday, even if I never leave the house. Now that I'm a stay at home mom it's even more important to feel pretty and put together. You can easily fall into the no makeup/sweatpants routine if you don't watch yourself hahaha!
