Gardening is for everyone, you'll love it :)
KatieAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13289057264276106892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1342626399630015748.post-17595317949067309162014-03-20T09:05:36.594+00:002014-03-20T09:05:36.594+00:00Helena, you are a fountain of garden knowledge - t...Helena, you are a fountain of garden knowledge - thank you so much!! It turns out that yes, they are Pieris, and Stinking Hellebore (what a charming name!!). As for the tree, yes there are four petals per flower, and I suspect could be a type of cherry, but further investigation is needed.

Thanks for stopping by! xPorcelinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02202283149145094340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1342626399630015748.post-44194214199505633622014-03-20T09:04:19.601+00:002014-03-20T09:04:19.601+00:00Thank you Christina, I appreciate you stopping by ...Thank you Christina, I appreciate you stopping by the blog! xPorcelinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02202283149145094340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1342626399630015748.post-10034257964068452122014-03-20T09:03:48.689+00:002014-03-20T09:03:48.689+00:00It captured my imagination for sure Jessica! The forest is full of magical little bits of nature like this, I want to do a fairy story photoshoot, perhaps with a red cape like Red Riding Hood, or with a crown of flowers! xPorcelinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02202283149145094340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1342626399630015748.post-58321345312166938232014-03-19T21:12:54.825+00:002014-03-19T21:12:54.825+00:00That gnarled tree is definitely channeling a Sleep...That gnarled tree is definitely channeling a Sleepy Hollow vibe, I completely agree. It's a marvelous, twisty, engaging bit of nature isn't it? I'm pretty sure that the last one is of a Pieris. The one above that could be a type of hellebore. Google those names and see if you can identify the specific plants! The little white flowers are more difficult to identify, as there are a few things which flower in early spring like that. Are there four petals per flower? Is is a tree, or a shrub (smaller, more bushy)? Helenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01553503435833467369noreply@blogger.com
