Shoe Lust vs Ceiling Price Guilt

Is £150 too much for a pair of shoes? 

"They're not leather", my other half complains.

"But they're Vivienne Westwood, for Melissa."

"Mm."  (then changes subject)

    I had a bit of a "thing" for Melissa shoes last summer, and I got a couple off ebay. they are great and you don't have to worry about getting them wet! very practical :) I've always wanted the ones with cherries... but they're definitely too steep for me!
