Yumi often come up with some great vintage inspired pieces. This Spring/Summer, they've excelled themselves with a range of pieces in a really lovely soft 1950's palette of pale yellow, mint, pink and turquoise, with some of the pieces heading into the early 1960s with their feel.
Highlights for me are the atomic print dress, and a 'Daisy Chain' blouse that's a dead-ringer for the broderie styles by Prada that came out last year.
Some of the styling is a bit modern - with a '60s style mini dress, swap those ridiculous nude coloured patent heels for some flats, or a pointy kitten heel, and it's instantly more retro.
Finally, I can't really share these pictures without commenting on the 1950's kitchen used in the photoshoot - so drool worthy!!
Agreed, that kitchen is seriously fantastic!!! Lovely colour palette running through all of these charming pieces - very redolent of a candy shop. There's a few things I'd wear here for sure, chief amongst which is that whimsically sweet sailboat patterned cardigan.

It must be a place in America somewhere that they've used for that shoot, I'd love to visit it... I liked the cardigan too, anything nautical and I'm sold! P x
