The coat was another car boot sale bargain, I think it was just £2. It's a little big, so I've teamed it with a belt. The coat has a lovely wrap collar, that means you can go without a scarf and still be cosy.
My Baby wore an old faithful homburg hat and a classic wool coat.

This coat was an amazing find - and very smart to put it with a belt; it makes a cosy and fab outfit for winter walks. You look beautiful in these photos - and great to see your dapper man make an appearance too! CC x
ReplyDeleteHe's getting less camera shy and is building up quite the vintage hat collection, it's inevitable that he'll be featuring more and more! x
DeleteWhat a good looking and stylish couple you are! Fab coat, and I love the beret. They are my go to items in cold weather - berets and gloves!
ReplyDeleteI am envious of how good you look in berets, I have been admiring for some time! X
DeleteYour coat is really pretty and the hat as well. I love the flower detail! The gloves are really beautiful as well. I aimed to get red gloves for myself this winter, but I ended up getting a red coat instead so I can keep all my black accessories :)
ReplyDeleteIt must be nice to be able to find such bargains. ^^
The only trouble with so many bargains, is where to put them all?! Your red coat is fabulous, especially against all that snow you get x
DeleteI love the belt and your hat! Such a chic look to keep you warm and cozy!

You and your sweetie are both fabulous - two great hats. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday! xox
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coat and belt. I adore adding belts that didn't come with them originally to jackets like that, too.
ReplyDeleteLayers, oh so many layers! Cardigans, tights, my wool winter coats, (faux) fur lined snow boots, thick gloves, hats and toques, and thermal underwear all all musts to try and keep a wee bit of winter's bite at bay here in Canada.

You guys are looking sharp! I love your plaid coat and the little belt, and your dude's hat is really dapper. It's always nice to see a stylish man on one of these.
ReplyDeleteHe's going to need his own blog soon!
DeleteHI Porcelina,
ReplyDeleteI adore your hat, I wore one on my post today too, a 20s hat. Love this and the coat on you! I reach for hats, faux fur stoles and long gloves.

What a fabulous deal! I love that coat. You just reminded me that I bought a gorgeous orange pea coat for my daughter at the second hand store for $1 last year. I need to pull it out so she can wear it tomorrow! I love how you belted it. I would never know it was out of necessity. Your baby looks dashing, too!

Your coat, hat and crystal belt are all gorgeous, polished and a little retro, Porcelina. Love them. You look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWell done for finding such bargains at a car boot! I love the way you've styled your coat with a belt. You both look great.
ReplyDeleteDarn you two are a gorgeous looking pair!!
