It's the same coat that you saw last Sunday, but with different gloves, boots, scarf and the addition of the fabulous faux fur hat. That coat has been a winter winner, it's wool, so nice and cosy, and I love how the length covers my full skirts. A bargain for £8 from a local charity shop.
Scarf: Joy the store, sale bin bargain.
Coat: Vintage, via charity shop.
Hat: Can't remember, possibly H&M about a decade ago!
Boots: Cara.
Gloves: TU at Sainsbury's.
We are having so much fun driving around our scenic area to take photos, we're seeing sights that we wouldn't normally get to see. Tourism via blogging! It does feel a bit ridiculous sometimes, with the drivers of passing cars wondering what you're doing, and my family and friends are always quick to gently jibe me about my latest blog photos, with comments like "have you lost something in the near distance?" and "can you see Siberia?". One of my sisters hates this hat, so I will make sure I post a few pictures on her Facebook page.
Anyway, if you haven't heard the disco-classic Rasputin, you can enjoy that now - I warn you that it's an infectious melody and you'll be singing it for days.

Totally awesome look! I like that hat, and the milieu where you took these photos :)
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely and that coat is stunning. Love the shape!
ReplyDeleteI've said it before and am sure to say it again, I am very jealous of your surroundings! You can always rely on family to burst the bubble can't you?
ReplyDeleteYour surroundings are stunning. Where is this? I have one of those hats from a few years ago. My little boy tends to steal it now and dress up in it! You look great and it suits. Oh how the coat looks different when the fur isn't on it. I love the lace up boots. Thank you for linking up to #StreetStyleSunday
ReplyDeleteThe Valleys of South Wales! Thanks for stopping by x
DeleteLove this look! And I love the headline too - I adore a bit of faux fur and also own a large furry hat. It is the perfect thing to keep my bonce warm in this chilly weather and every time I wear it, I imagine I'm in Moscow, about to meet some mysterious man for a vodka or two ;-) Gorgeous post - thrilled to have found your blog via #streetstylesunday
ReplyDeleteKate / Pouting In Heels
It sounds like your imagination can rival my own! I do like a bit of make-believe depending on what I'm wearing. Thanks for visiting x
DeleteSuch gorgeous pictures - really enjoying your scenic posts at the moment!
ReplyDeleteThanks lovely, I've been keen to make the most of the scenery and stop wasting time in shops!!
DeleteFantastic photos, loving your outfit it works very well with the scene. I don't know where you are here, but wherever you are it looks beautiful. #streetstylesunday
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting! Loads more scenery to show off, so expect many more posts up mountain tops and down valleys!!
DeleteI love driving round finding great photo locations too - particularly if said trips end in tea and cake in the nearest cafe ;) my backdrops are never as gorgeous as yours though! Love the dramatic scenery with the dramatic hat. I think I'm too little to wear a hat like that - it would probably wear me. But you look great! xx
ReplyDeleteYour hat, coat and tights are out of this world, Porcelina. Polished and retro-chic as usual.
ReplyDelete<3 Ada.
Bold, fresh, absolutely marvelous photos. You look fantastic! I've never shot in the middle of a road before, but now suddenly want to - and all the more when there's snow still on the ground. The gears are turning! :)
ReplyDelete♥ Jessica
Thank you Jessica - it wasn't my idea to stand in the middle of the road, it was my arty husband-to-be. Even though we were very isolated, I still kept one eye out for cars, so there's lots of photos of me with odd expressions as I kept thinking I was hearing cars! But I do like the perspective it gives and would definitely try it again. x
DeleteThe hat IS awesome, Porcelina!! It looks so good with the coat (great bargain!!) and the shot with the solar flare is sooooooo beauuuuuuuutiful!
ReplyDeleteCatherine, Not Dressed As Lamb x
I think the flare shots are my photographer's trade mark, he tries to do one in every shoot!! Glad you like the hat, I thought you'd appreciate it given your own fabulous choice of headwear in your last post x
DeleteThe backdrop is stunning, and you look suitably gorgeous too! Loving the hat. xxx
ReplyDeleteStunning photo shoot! and you are gorgeous in that fab hat. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday, xo.
ReplyDeleteI am truly beginning to covet your boot collection! I think this is the third pair I've seen you wear that I've fallen in love with. Love the hat too. You can never beat a bit of faux fur in the winter.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, there are many, many more pairs of boots to show Cate! X
DeleteBrrr. it looks cold! I love the boots and the coat is a style I am considering, you look great in the fit and flare style, and the hat is so cute! great style

I am LOVING these photos. The background is truly gorgeous (that second to last one especially), and I really enjoy the whole Siberian Chic theme. The coat was a great find, I like how you get just a hint of the skirt peeking out underneath.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you're adapting well to your new camera. That photo of you with the sun behind you is fabulous.
