That red lipstick by Bourjois is the most long-lasting one I own. It stays on all day, in the most literal sense. I put it on in the morning, went to a car boot sale, ate some fruit and drank some water, went to the marina, went home and had lunch, painted a wall, drank tea, did the laundry, and it was still on that evening, requiring the barest touch-up for drinks and dinner. I'd like to try it in some other colours, so if you have tried any other shades then let me know.

The chiffon scarf billowing in the wind looks wonderful, teamed with that red dress, your look is fun and stylish. I love the polka dots, can't get enough of them myself!
ReplyDeleteI too have a bit of a polkadot obsession Christina! Nothing wrong with that! x
DeleteLove you in a wiggle dress - hot stuff! Really suits you. Weirdly, I first typed 'wedding dress' just then - I guess I'll be saying that soon enough ;) I need to check that lipstick out, for sure... adding it to my list! xx
ReplyDeleteI always feel a bit more grown up than I feel mentally in a wiggle dress, so maybe I'll wear more of them when I'm older?! Do check out the lippy, there are some great retro shades available, and they now do it a wet-look version (if you're going a bit '60s with a look that might work) xx
DeleteYou look so summer-y, and ever so 50s!
ReplyDeleteGreat colour matching - and that weather! It looks more like the south of France than Cardiff. Such nice photos.
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky to have a nice sunny (though windy!) day! Grab 'em while you can! xx
DeleteYou look like such a babe! This dress is fabulous on you, I really love it. The scarf is the perfect thing with it, you look so ready for the beach circa 1955.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm glad the dress has gone down well with you all, I'll have to wear it more often. I always feel a bit more self-conscious in wiggle styles, bit odd really that I feel less self-conscious in something poufy?!

Oh wow - you look amazing! Love the headscarf to match! =)
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful, summery, coastal look. The colour and shape of the dress are a perfect for you! Kx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, the marina makes a fantastic backdrop, and the red polka dot frock suits you beautifully! xx

Great outfit! I love those sheer vintage nylon scarves, I only have one myself so I really need to expand my collection!
ReplyDeleteI've got a blue one too! x
DeleteIf only that wind would cease! Lovely photos, you look tres Riviera Chic! xxx
ReplyDeleteWonderfully pretty outfit! I just adore that charming cherry print bag. I like how the red and white here channel a nautical vibe when shot near the water like this, even though the patterns/garments themselves aren't inherently sailor inspired.

You are smokin hot in that red dress! Love the chiffon scarf!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and adorable outfit! I can so see you driving a cute white convertible in this!
