White Feathers

Another glimpse into my little collection of vintage nightwear today, with the most flamboyant peignoir.  The softest chiffon, a satin trim, and a collar of white feathers.  Instant glamour for a gloomy day.  Cue some gratuitous posing, because when you're wearing something this fabulous, you have to strike a pose!

Peignoir: Vintage, via charity shop
Headscarf: Vintage, via car boot sale

Aren't those little flower buttons sweet?  The best part about this peignoir is that I picked it up in a charity shop for just £7.99.

So, I think what I really need now to go with the peignoir is a pair of those heeled fluffy mules.  I like the Miss L Fire ones for What Katie Did, but they're too narrow for me.  Any other ideas where I can get a pair?

    Fab photos - I don't know how you made them all soft focus like that but it's tres arty! Really cool find - ASOS had some mules like that a few months ago, so that might be worth looking into. If they're not in store still perhaps they'd have ended up on eBay?? Will shout if I come across any xx

    Oh, I do love vintage nightwear! This peignoir (we are using the word in Flemish as well) is especially nice. Those fluffy mules are not easy to find, I know. xxx

    Ohhh yes a pair of white fluffy heels would be absolutely divine with this! Your vintage nightwear collection is so dreamy, these photos are like something out of a vintage magazine or advertisement. So glam!

    Sexy and angelic! I love the soft focus glow, it definitely adds to the retro feel of your shoot. And you definitely need some maribou mules to go with this - I can't imagine anything more fun.

    Gorgeous!! I love the detailing and the fabric looks so lovely! I have a pair of the fluffy heels in black that are vintage. I have actually found quite a few vintage pairs around different shops! But vintage heels can be quite narrow too. Also Ideal Heels on Etsy has lots of colours that they custom make, link:
